8 Walks, 2 Weekends, 1 Step!

Saturday & Sunday, September 25 - 26 and Saturday, October 2

News from Northern Michigan’s AIDS WALK:

Special guest speaker is Connie Judd, sister of Thomas Judd. Thomas Judd was the first person to speak and go public about his HIV. He died May 10, 1993. She will tell us the "The Rest of the Story." The Thomas Judd Care Center is named in his honor.

Students from Interlochen Center of the Arts are coming to perform a variety of acts and participate in the walk!

News from Ann Arbor/Jackson's AIDS WALK:

Ann Arbor/Jackson is proud to announce the arrival and viewing of the AIDS Memorial Quilt in both Ann Arbor and Jackson. This will be the first-time for an appearance of the AIDS Memorial Quilt at the Walk and participants are encouraged to bring their cameras to remember those our community has lost. The AIDS Memorial Quilt offers an unique opportunity to educate people about HIV/AIDS and infection prevention, to remember those who have died, and to comfort the grieving and help them heal.
